BIO

My name is Eric Wiegner and I am excited to be a part of The Mavericks’ coaching staff.  I grew up playing Little League and later played High School baseball at Melbourne High.  After graduating from the University of Florida I moved back to the Melbourne area and met my lovely wife, Ashley.  We have two wonderful boys that enjoy baseball, and I have been able to coach each of them now for many years.  I love being around kids and having the opportunity to help teach and instruct them in the game, but most importantly to speak encouragement into their lives.  I take the role of “coach” very seriously and want to help these young men develop in their character, along with their ball skills.
